Malachite & Match was born from our passion for candles, crystals, and all things metaphysical. As a small family-owned and operated business, we simply love sharing the products that inspire us with others. We’re not here to reinvent the industry, we're here to create a welcoming space where like-minded people can discover beautiful, thoughtfully selected and curated products that bring a little joy, comfort, and intention into their everyday lives.

In an effort to remain sustainable and respectful to the earth and it's beautiful, vast cultures, Malachite & Match has made the decision to exclude certain closed practise and unethical ingredients from our range. This includes White Sage, Palo Santo, White Sandalwood and Frankincense. Due to significant overharvesting and illegal poaching from small native growth areas, the commercial demand of these products has become unethical and ecologically destructive. Not only this, but these plants and more are often used in longstanding cultural rituals that are closed practises to us, including Native American, Indian, Caribbean and Romani to name a few.
As such, we will not be selling or utilising these ingredients in our products. We encourage any person wanting to learn more about these practises to research information written by reputable sources from their respective culture, as we too continue to learn and shape our own practises.

That's why we strive to offer ethically sourced crystals obtained from trusted suppliers who value responsible mining practices, fair working conditions, and environmental stewardship wherever possible. As natural treasures formed over millions of years, each crystal is unique, and we are committed to ensuring they reach you through supply chains that prioritise integrity, sustainability, and transparency. While our suppliers have their own approach, many go above and beyond, this includes but are not limited to:
Speak directly with the mine owners through video calls
Visiting mines in person gaining first hand insight into mine conditions
Contribute to charities that help improve the lives of miners
